Never Run Out Of Ideas And Produce Daily Content

Entrepreneurship Mindset Productivity
Content Strategy

In the past I had situations where I was worried that maybe I would run out of content. Because there’s only so many things you can talk about. I get this fear, that’s common. I understand that you’re worrying about not having enough ideas for content etc. So, let me share what’s working really well for me and what I recommend you do in your business as well.

Commit to posting daily

The first and most important thing is to understand that it’s important to commit to posting daily. So, often times people think they don’t have enough ideas for content, but in reality they just haven’t committed to posting daily and creating content. So, once you really commit to producing daily content, once you make that non-negotiable, you will always find something to write about.

It’s not a problem of not having enough ideas or not being creative enough

Think about it like this: if someone held a gun to your head and you had to produce one piece of content every single day, you would find some idea. You would find a topic to talk about, you would just get creative. So, often time it’s not a problem of having not enough ideas or not being creative enough. The problem starts with lack of commitment to a specific schedule or routine. You just need to really commit and make a promise to yourself that you’re going to produce daily content. Once you make that non-negotiable and you really ritualize that in your business, then you’re going to shift the way you think about content. You’re going to ask different questions. Your questions aren’t going to be “What if I don’t have an idea for content?” or “Will I have something to talk about?”.Your question is going to be: “I need to produce a piece of content today, what should I talk about?” or “Let me find something creative.” Or “Let me see if I have any ideas.”. Once you’re committed you will just make it work. You will find something to talk about.

Train your brain to constantly seek out ideas and content

The more you ritualize your content production, the more your brain starts looking for ideas for content. This is almost like a skill. It’s a skill to start being productive enough to produce daily content. But then, training yourself and your brain to constantly seek out ideas and content is a micro-skill that you will also acquire if you do this for long enough. For example, I use a spreadsheet, a google sheet and whenever I have an idea, I write it down in that sheet. That way I always have a bunch of ideas for posts, for videos that I can fall back on, if I don’t feel inspired a certain day.

Clients are giving you the topics you should talk about

Also, here is my number one tip for producing content. The best way to get content ideas, if you have clients, is to force yourself to come up with three ideas for content after every coaching session that you do. And that way you can always make sure you’re always speaking directly to your ideal client. Look at the questions that the clients are asking during coaching calls. Look at the problems they’re having, the mindset problems, technical problems, whatever you help people with. Just look back at all your recent coaching calls and train yourself to extract three ideas for posts form your calls.

What that’s going to do is it’s always going to make your messaging and your content laser targeted because your clients are giving you the topics you should talk about. You don’t have to go and invent a bunch of topics. Your clients basically tell you what problems they are having or they ask a question and you answer it during the coaching session or during your live group coaching call. And that’s the starting point of a piece of content that you put out there in the market place. It’s going to resonate with potential clients, Why? Because it comes straight from the source, from your clients. That’s the secret that I’m using right now to always produce relevant content.

Extracting 3 ideas from every coaching call is worth magic

I go to the source and I don’t just make up content. I still sometimes have ideas that come to me spontaneously and I still sometimes use my creativity and make up topics that I want to talk about. But just forcing myself to extract 3 ideas from every coaching call that I do, that is worth magic for me and I recommend you do the same.
