I started my first online business a few years ago and I can’t state how important was my first sale for me. I believe making your first sale is the prove that you can do it. It’s the first baby step towards success.
I made my first sale in drop shipping after about two days of launching my store, because I focused on speed of implementation.
Most people won’t get results that fast.
However, that’s mainly because most of my students take a while to set up their Shopify account, payment gateway and all the technical aspects. It can be done in 2-4 hours, but some people take longer.
Everyone learns and implements at their own rhythm, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But many students make their first sale within a few days after launching their Facebook advertising campaign.
There is some level of luck involved in picking a great product and hitting a hungry crowd right away, so it’s different for everyone.
Some people make sales right away with their first product.
Others need to test one or two different products to see what works for them. And again others are less lucky and need to test a few niches before they make their first sale with drop shipping.
The bottom line is: You can only fail at drop shipping if you give up too early. There’s really no other way than lacking that persistence.
Put in the work, test your way forward and don’t quit 🙂
After all you still have to be an entrepreneur.
Keep pushing until you get that first sale because it’s such an important reference experience. Only once you see it with your own eyes, will your body and mind fully believe that it’s possible.
Once you have that first reference experience, you will likely unleash a whole new level of motivation, dedication and work ethic.
Results serve as proof, and proof serves as motivation.
Now go out there and hustle for that first sale
