How To Deal With Success — Adapt To Change & Handle More Responsibility Every Year | TBS #055

Podcast

Today’s episode is about how to achieve great success and how to deal with the attention that comes from it.

Most of us won’t be an overnight success, and that’s actually in our favor. The more success you have, the more responsibility you need to carry, the more pressure you need to endure and the more mature you need to be in terms of managing people and assets.

These things need to be learned, just like any other skill in life. Financial intelligence, pressure and responsibility are habits.

That’s why many people who win the lottery or make a lot of money over night, lose everything just as fast as the got it because they don’t have the character traits, skills and habits of a successful person. They aren’t ready for this type of success and they don’t have the right mindset to deal with this new lifestyle.

For example when I built my first business in the music industry I had to put a lot of consistent work. I uploaded 3 to 5 beats every week for 2 years to build my YouTube channel to 20,000 subscribers. And I learned so much.

Your personality adapts to your new level of success when you gradually become successful and wealthy.

It’s a constant desensitization to pressure and responsibility.

So once you get really successful and wealthy as you get older, you will know how to:

  1. keep your money,
  2. manage assets and people,
  3. be in the spotlight,
  4. deal with rejection and pressure and all those things that come with success.

Be thankful for succeeding at a slow pace.

Everything else might crush you because you’re not ready for it.
