The Truth About Internet Marketing – Why Being Successful In Business Is Hard | TBS #001

Podcast

This image created in the public of entrepreneurship (yes, I’ve been guilty of it, too!) as the good life filled with success and glory is far from the truth. In reality, being an entrepreneur is a pretty harsh reality.

Entrepreneurship is not glorious!

That doesn’t mean I would like it to be anyway else.

It’s very tough and stressful, but is highly rewarding and satisfying.

You have to be prepared to take more responsibility than is healthy, deal with incredible pressure, cope with financial losses, risks and wins. Your income will be strictly tied to how much you work.

Today can be the brightest day, but tomorrow can be the darkest night. You never know.

In essence, you have to be great at dealing with chaos. It’s a bit like standing in the eye of a hurricane. You have to be motivated and ambitious, but also grounded and realistic. You need to creatively find solutions for problems that don’t seem to have any solution at first sight.

As entrepreneur you do stuff nobody else is willing to do, not to live the good life, but because you have a greater vision of something.

This is why is so important to have a purpose. It will carry you forward when during the hard times. So, what’s your vision?

Why becoming an entrepreneur is important for you?

Why don’t you get a job instead? There are plenty of your friends who have a job and live a good life.

So, if you’re looking for the “good life”, get a comfortable job and retire your brain from stress and hustle by following instructions and kicking it back. But if you want to build something great, make an impact in the world, and you’re ready to sacrifice A LOT for it, then be an entrepreneur.
