Once your drop shipping income increases, you to start looking for ways to increase the average value of every customer.
One way to do that is by launching new drop shipping items.
However, you can also look for affiliate products in your niche and upsell courses, ebooks and trainings to your existing customer base. Any affiliate offer that works complementary to the physical items that you sell, can be a great additional source of income for you.
By the time your drop shipping store is up and running you will be building a huge customer list and Facebook audience for free.
It’d be stupid not to take advantage of that 🙂
So here’s what you can do:
Go to ClickBank.com and navigate to the marketplace. Then search for keywords related to your niche. Let’s say you’re selling fake nails, so you might search for a keyword like “Beauty” in the search field.
Make sure you sort the search results by “Gravity”.
Gravity is an indicator how well an affiliate product has been doing. Look for affiliate products with a good overall Gravity score.
Then sign up as an affiliate on ClickBank.com.
And start promoting relevant offers to your existing customers and Facebook fans. You can use email marketing campaigns to promote your affiliate offers and of course promoted posts to your own Facebook fan base. It’ll be a nice additional source of income.
Not every drop shipping store owner will be able to do this, if you’re selling general jewellery it might be harder to find online courses.
But if you’re selling survival gear, then you’ll find lots of complimentary survival courses and ebooks that you can sell to your customers. I suggest taking a look at ClickBank.com and seeing what’s there.
Maybe you’ll find a great offer that is relevant.
And maybe your drop shipping niche is too broad (or simply not ideal to sell information products). The point is that you always want to look for ways to grow your income and increase the average value per customer. And affiliate marketing can be a great way to do that.
