I got a follow up question after yesterday’s post where I talked about why you shouldn’t be worried about the price on the package you drop ship from China to your customers all around the world.
The question was regarding the word ‘Aliexpress’ and if it’s going to show up on the package your customers receive from China.
Here’s the short answer:
The word ‘Aliexpress’ won’t show up anywhere.
Aliexpress.com is not a supplier nor is it the company that will fulfill and ship your package. Aliexpress.com is a website where different Chinese wholesale suppliers can list and sell their products. Every supplier has their own delivery methods and of course packaging.
Since the package gets shipped out by the individual supplier and not by Aliexpress.com, you won’t find the word ‘Aliexpress’ anywhere.
Aliexpress has nothing to do with the supplier’s business, apart from serving as a listing directory. But how the different orders are fulfilled, packaged and shipped by suppliers doesn’t concern Aliexpress.
The only exception I can think of is if you choose “Aliexpress Shipping” as the delivery option. Aliexpress does have its own fulfillment center, but most suppliers don’t really use it. However, some suppliers have it listed in the product’s shipping options.
Just make sure you don’t select this delivery option.
If you do, the word ‘Aliexpress’ might show up somewhere. Especially if you’re going to provide your customer with tracking information. It’s going to be hard to hide the fact that the order is form Aliexpress.
But as long as you don’t choose “Aliexpress Shipping” as the delivery option, I wouldn’t worry about the word ‘Aliexpress’ showing up.
