Shopify Marketing Tips — The Best Shopify Apps To Boost Sales And Trust | TBS #090

Podcast

Today’s question comes from Chris and he’s asking: “What resources do you personally recommend in terms of having an online Shopify business

The great thing about Shopify is that you can add various apps to your store to make the sales and marketing process easier.

Here is a list of plugins you should check out:

– Hurrify (urgency and scarcity)

This adds a countdown timer without any message or information about what’s going to happen. I add the timer to remind people that they should take action and to build urgency.

– Recent Sales Notification (social proof, urgency and trust)

This app pops up a little notification saying something like: “Jose in California bought X item 2 minutes ago” and then a couple seconds later another one. This is excellent to build social proof and urgency in real time.

– Oberlo and Shopified app (drop shipping semi-automation)

These apps help you automate some of the drop shipping process like importing products from AliExpress to your store, and when the items on AliExpress are out of stock it will also create a notice within Shopify that the item is unavailable.

– Boost Sales (order bump and cross-sell app)

I don’t use this already, but I plan to use it further down the road. Just because I’m more focused in the free plus shipping offers right now.

– OneClickUpsell by Zipify (post purchase upsells)

This app adds an upsell after someone makes a purchase. Just like ClickFunnels.

All of these will make your life easier.

Hurrify and Recent Sales Notification are a must to boost Shopify conversions. Those are my favorite two plugins.

But there’s a lot more.

I urge you to head over to http://apps.shopify.com and spend half an hour or so browsing the directory, looking for different keywords and checking out what’s available. You’ll find really cool stuff.

This are my Shopify marketing tips. Hope its helps you 😉
