Social Media Marketing Strategy — Social Media Marketing Tutorial For Beginners | TBS #114

Podcast

All social media is an attention game. Those who manage to raise above the noise and general clutter in their marketplace win. You need to understand this dynamic if you have plans to increase your social media following.

Here are my three most powerful social media tips:

1) Post daily content native to the platform

2) Interact, reply and engage with every single response

3) Duplicate the process on multiple networks

If you want to grab people’s attention, you need to show up every day. Consistency, frequency and quantity are the only thing you should focus on in the beginning. Quality will follow naturally. There’s no point in being a perfectionist. You can’t do something perfect at the beginning.

Quantity is the gateway to quality 🙂

If you’re posting once a week or once a month you can stop your social media marketing all together, it’s just a waste of time.

You have to commit to a platform and then own the space by showing up every day, with relevant and contextual content, and answering and replying to every single comment, like, share and so forth.

Once you’ve mastered one platform, go and post daily content on the next one.

Sounds overwhelming?

It is 🙂

Did you think social media marketing was a piece of cake or a joke? You have to literally overwhelm the marketplace with content and value. Social media marketing is all about being overwhelming.

At first it might overwhelm YOU.

But then you will overwhelm the marketplace.

People will not be able to ignore you because you will post so frequently. Then when they check your content they will want to stay with you because it will be good content and it will be improving every single day.

You just need to put your mind to it. Commit to do it.
