How To Make Wise Decisions — Making Decisions In Life That You Can Follow Through With | TBS #027

Podcast

Today’s episode is all about how to make wise decisions in life.

It’s easy to have an idea, get inspired for a couple of weeks and start something new. Anyone can do that because it’s no big deal.

For example: you see a lot of people getting a new membership at the gym, and then few weeks later they give up.

But these aren’t real decisions.

Your mind can only get you so far and decisions based purely on your mind will be hard to execute in the long-term. When the hard times come, when resistance kicks in, when your willpower fades, your mind will fail you. Your mind will create excuses and give up.

That’s why you need to make decisions with your heart.

Only when your decisions are backed up by passion and by soul you’ll have a recipe to make bullet proof decisions and follow through. Otherwise you will get sidetracked when results don’t come quickly. And that’s often the case.

See, the hard part of making decisions is the end game, executing your decisions in the long-run when your willpower and initial motivation fades away. If your decisions don’t come from your heart, you have nothing that keeps you going in those hard times.

That’s why so many people don’t take action.

I keep hammering it, but it all comes down to developing a big enough “why”. Why are you doing what you’re doing? Because doing it for money will only get you so far.

If you can answer that profound question, you win.

You will have lasting fuel for the tough times. You will keep pushing while your peers give up.

The “why” is the star in the sky that will guide you, that will shine no matter the darkness around it.

Find your “why” and get to work!
