How To Launch A New Product — Launching A New Product To Your Customer List | TBS #130

Podcast

Email marketing is a super effective way to launch products and make money, once you’ve built a list of subscribers or customers.

Anyone who says email marketing is dead, is wrong.

I promise you they have never done email marketing themselves and they have never had a behind-the-scenes look at any real business that’s currently using online marketing to sell and drive revenue.

You’ll find that most successful online businesses still drive a large percentage of their sales and traffic from email marketing.

So let’s talk about some practical strategies.

Jeff Walker came out with his Product Launch Formula in 2004 and ever since then many gurus and experts have been using his method to launch new products and break a series of world-records.

John Reese first did his million dollar day using the tips from Jeff. Then Frank Kern broke the record by doing a multi-million launch in just a few hours. Some of the biggest launches I’ve personally done for clients have been using Jeff’s Product Launch Formula.

Here’s the most important stuff:

First you have a 7-14 day pre-launch period where you start creating buzz for the upcoming product launch. You hit on different mental triggers like scarcity, urgency, community, anticipation and others.

You want to overcome all objections and close the “deal” before the cart even opens. So once the cart opens people have no questions.

They are already “bought in” and just place the order.

Then during the open-cart period you send daily emails. You have a clear deadline for your launch, usually between 4-7 days and once the time is over you either pull the product off the market or increase the price or get rid of free bonuses that you offered earlier on.

That’s the gist of how to launch a new product. If done correctly, they can literally result in online buying frenzies and a lot of revenue.
