When you reach a certain level of success in business you need to start to bring other people on board to do some of the tasks. You shouldn’t, handle everything yourself. The beauty of bringing people with you is that you’ll have more time to focus on what you are better. That’s why is so helpful to know how to hire a virtual assistant.

Here’s some examples tasks you can delegate:

Order fulfilment, copywriting, project management, customer support, translation, design, video editing, podcast managing, content writing, cold emailing, lead researching and other crucial tasks,

Hire a virtual assistant or freelancer.

It’s really easy.

All you have to do is go to Upwork.com. Create a job posting where you explain what you need, specify the required skills needed and then make your job posting public so freelancers and VA’s can apply for the job by submitting their applications and cover letters.

Then you get rid of every low quality proposal that is clearly not a fit. Then for the top 10-20% of people you take some more time and look at their reviews, portfolios, ratings and history on Upwork. You try to get a grasp of their work.

If you feel like you’ve found a good candidate, hire them and record a video with specific instructions on what they have to do.

You can also have a Skype call to give instructions.

Then work together and see if the person delivers and is good to work with. If not, cancel the contract and repeat everything above until you’ve found someone great to work with. And once you’ve found someone, continue working together for as long as it makes sense.

And as a side note take some precautions when working with your assistant: make sure you share correct information with him. Keep things safe.

That’s pretty much it 🙂

NO ROCKET SCIENCE DEGREE NEEDED to hire a virtual assistant.
