How To Get Traffic On YouTube — Getting Traffic From YouTube Explained | TBS #172

Podcast

Getting traffic on YouTube isn’t that hard if you know how to do it and if you work hard. There’s no secret trick here as usual, it mainly all comes down to executing consistent hard work on a daily basis.

However, here are my top 3 tips for getting traffic from YouTube.

1) Publish daily videos

I’ve seen my channel grow when I did weekly videos and I’ve seen my channel grow when I did daily videos. When I published weekly videos I got around 30 new subscribers every single month.

Now that I’m doing daily videos I’m getting 1,200 new subscribers every month. If you ask me, that’s quite a profound difference.

Step it up and publish daily videos on your channel.

2) Use YouTube search engine optimization

Whenever you publish a video, make sure you optimize the title, description and tags for search keywords. My favorite trick is to type in a word in the search field and seeing the suggested searches.

The suggested searches are always high volume keywords.

I always target one or two of these in every video.

3) Boost your channel with Google AdWords

I recently started promoting some of my videos with Google AdWords, which allows me to get a cost per click of $0.30.

The amount of additional views and subscribers I get from boosting some of my videos and channel trailer on similar videos from my competitors is just mind-blowing. However, I only recommend doing this if you are somehow making money from your channel.

If you have no monetization in place, your ad spend is just wasted.

There’s my top three strategies to get traffic from YouTube. As I said earlier on, it’s all about the consistency. You just have to step it up and publish daily videos, not weekly, not monthly, daily videos.
